The impacts of war
War impacts on people in many ways. The most vulnerable people in conflict situations are children and young people. Caught in war zones through no choice of their own, they are deprived of adequate food and miss out on basic schooling. They experience lasting emotional and psychological effects from witnessing violence, being separated from their families, living on the run and in fear of attack.
